Jakarta, March 12, 2026 – PERBANAS together with Artha Graha Peduli, through the PERBANAS Banking Community Care Committee (KMPP PERBANAS), organized an Affordable Basic Food Bazaar by distributing thousands of packages to the community at PERBANAS Bekasi. Previously, a similar event was held on Thursday, March 5, 2026, at the Unit V Field of Perbanas Institute, Karet Kuningan, Setiabudi, South Jakarta.
This activity is part of the KMPP PERBANAS social care program, which aims to assist communities with economic limitations, particularly those living around the campus area. The program is also in line with the Affordable Market initiative that has been consistently implemented by Artha Graha Peduli since December 11, 2025, and continues to run in various regions across Indonesia as an effort to maintain community purchasing power and economic stability.

Supervisor of the PERBANAS Banking Community Care Committee (KMPP PERBANAS), Vera Eve Lim, emphasized that the activity is not only held in Jakarta but will also reach other regions.
“Today’s activity is part of the KMPP PERBANAS work program. In addition to being carried out at the PERBANAS Jakarta Campus, similar activities will also be held at the PERBANAS Bekasi Campus and in several disaster-affected regions, including Aceh, Padang, Cisarua Bandung, Tegal, and Purbalingga. Overall, this program distributes thousands of basic food packages as a form of care for the community. We hope this activity runs in an orderly, safe, and smooth manner and brings blessings to all of us,” she said.
The basic food packages distributed through this bazaar receive subsidies of more than 50 percent of their original value, providing significant relief to beneficiaries and helping maintain their purchasing power.
The enthusiasm of residents in welcoming the activity was expressed by Saprudin, Head of Neighborhood Association (RT 02 RW 02) Sepanjang Jaya Village, Rawa Lumbu District, Bekasi City.
“I would like to express my gratitude to PERBANAS Peduli and Artha Graha Peduli for organizing this affordable basic food program for the residents in my neighborhood,” he said.
The bazaar is intended for economically disadvantaged residents around Perbanas Institute, including cleaning staff, security personnel, and small traders in the surrounding area. To ensure the program reaches the right beneficiaries, the committee prepared a coupon system and conducted data collection and verification in collaboration with local community officials.
A representative of Artha Graha Peduli, Indrastomo, emphasized that this collaboration reflects a long-term social commitment.
“We believe that compassion must be realized through concrete actions and strong collaboration. Through synergy with PERBANAS and KMPP, Artha Graha Peduli aims to ensure that the assistance provided truly benefits the community. This program is not only about distributing basic food packages, but also about maintaining the spirit of mutual cooperation and strengthening social resilience,” he stated.
This activity was made possible through the synergy between Artha Graha Peduli, the PERBANAS Banking Community Care Committee (KMPP PERBANAS), and Perbanas Institute. The collaboration between the banking sector and educational institutions demonstrates that a spirit of togetherness can bring tangible benefits to society.
Through this initiative, PERBANAS and Artha Graha Peduli reaffirm their commitment to actively participate in sustainable social programs and reach more beneficiaries across various regions in Indonesia.
