Commander of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), General Agus Subiyanto, officially launched the free Eid homecoming trip for the extended TNI Headquarters family at the B3 Parade Ground, TNI Headquarters, Cilangkap, East Jakarta, on Thursday (March 27, 2025).

In his speech, the TNI Commander expressed hope that this year's homecoming journey would be safe and smooth for all participants.

“May this journey bring happiness, strengthen family ties, and be a moment to celebrate victory after a full month of fasting,” said General Agus Subiyanto.

He emphasized the importance of using the Eid homecoming as a moment to reinforce the values of togetherness.

“Homecoming is not just a physical journey, but also a spiritual one—returning to cultural roots and celebrating unity. May this year’s Eid homecoming bring blessings and joy to us all,” he added.

For this program, the TNI Headquarters deployed 27 buses divided into three main routes: the Northern, Central, and Southern routes of Java Island.

Meanwhile, the Chief of Naval Staff, Admiral Muhammad Ali, stated that the Indonesian Navy sent off 1,642 homecoming travelers using the warship KRI Banjarmasin 592 and around 100 buses. The travelers, mainly from the Greater Jakarta area, departed from the Navy’s Military Sealift Command (Kolinlamil) base in Tanjung Priok, Jakarta, on Thursday (March 27, 2025). They sailed on the KRI Banjarmasin to Semarang and Surabaya, with the ship expected to arrive around March 27–28, 2025. For the return trip, the ship is scheduled to sail back to Kolinlamil on April 7, 2025.

This year, the homecoming bus departure ceremonies were held at two different locations—TNI Headquarters and Mako Kolinlamil—to facilitate the journey for both the general public and Indonesian Navy personnel.

The bus departure from TNI Headquarters was held on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 9:00 AM WIB, while the event at Mako Kolinlamil took place earlier at 7:30 AM on the same day. Bank Artha Graha Internasional, in collaboration with Artha Graha Peduli and the Artha Graha Network, supported dozens of buses that transported homecoming travelers to their hometowns.

“We are very proud to collaborate in this joint homecoming program. As part of our social commitment, we hope this initiative brings real benefits to the community and TNI personnel. Eid homecoming is a very important moment, and we want to ensure that travelers have a smooth, safe, and comfortable journey,” said Elvin Halim, a representative from Bank Artha Graha Internasional, on Thursday (March 27, 2025) in Jakarta.

Elvin stated that the joint homecoming program enhances the comfort and safety of travelers, helps reduce traffic congestion, and eases the economic burden that often arises during the Eid homecoming season.

“Through this collaboration, Bank Artha Graha Internasional is committed to supporting initiatives that benefit the public and TNI personnel undertaking the Eid journey,” he added.
