Ternate, October 31, 2025 — In support of the national program for improving financial literacy and inclusion initiated by the Financial Services Authority (OJK), Bank Artha Graha Internasional (BAGI) Ternate Branch held a Financial Education for Students program at SMP Islam 1 Ternate.

The interactive session was attended by 120 participants, consisting of students and teachers, aimed at introducing the importance of financial management from an early age and fostering a savings culture among students.

During the session, the Bank Artha Graha Internasional team introduced student-friendly banking products such as Tabungan SimPel (Student Savings) and Tabungan Pintar, designed to help students learn how to save and understand the banking world in a simple and fun way.

In addition to presentations, the event also featured interactive Q&A and quiz sessions to enhance participants’ understanding of the functions and benefits of saving in banks. The students showed great enthusiasm as they actively participated, answered questions, and shared their insights on how to manage their pocket money wisely.

Bank Artha Graha Internasional Ternate Branch hopes this activity will raise financial awareness among the younger generation and support the achievement of national financial inclusion goals.“We believe that financial literacy should start from a young age. Through activities like this, we aim to instill the habit of saving and introduce the concept of healthy financial management to students,” said Pierre Matitaputy, Branch Director of Bank Artha Graha Internasional Ternate Branch, in his remarks.

This educational initiative is part of Bank Artha Graha Internasional’s commitment to support OJK’s Sustainable Financial Education and Inclusion Program, as well as a tangible demonstration of BAGI’s active role in promoting inclusive and sustainable economic growth across Indonesia, including in the eastern regions.
