The Artha Graha Peduli "Pasar Murah" (Affordable Market) is a routine activity organized by the Artha Graha Network across its business units throughout Indonesia. On Saturday, March 23, 2019, Bank Artha Graha Internasional Solo Branch, as one of the business units of the Artha Graha Network, held a Pasar Murah event at the Pendopo of Sumber Banjarsari Subdistrict, Surakarta.

Artha Graha Peduli has a vision to build various social, humanitarian, and environmental awareness programs sustainably. Additionally, Artha Graha Peduli’s mission is to implement this awareness through community-based programs to support the creation of national independence and enhance the welfare of society.

Artha Graha Peduli's activities are based on 5 main program pillars:

  • Artha Graha Peduli Environmental Awareness

  • Artha Graha Peduli Disaster Relief

  • Artha Graha Peduli Social, Cultural, and Educational Support

  • Artha Graha Peduli Food Security and Community Empowerment

  • Artha Graha Peduli Legal Assistance for the Underprivileged

The purpose of the Pasar Murah event is to assist underprivileged communities and serve as one of the social welfare efforts. This can be seen from the sale of basic necessities packages consisting of 2 kilograms of rice, 1 liter of cooking oil, 1 kilogram of sugar, and instant noodles. The goal of this event is to lighten the burden on those in need. This activity also represents Artha Graha Network's commitment to Indonesian society as part of their support for the nation.

“We hope that the Pasar Murah event will help ease the burden of small communities who are in urgent need of affordable essential goods,” said Septi Pangalila, Executive Officer of Bank Artha Graha Internasional Solo Branch.
