On Saturday, March 16, 2019, Bank Artha Graha Internasional Medan Pemuda Branch conducted financial education sessions for the communities in Kampung Aur Subdistrict, Kepling Jalan Mantri, Kepling Pantai Burung II, Kampung Binaan Jalan Purwosari, Kampung Binaan Jalan Kampung Aur, Kampung Binaan Jalan Sutrisno Gg. Rukun, Kampung Binaan Jalan Gaharu Gg. Berdikari Lingkar 8, and Kampung Binaan Kelurahan Pandau Hilir.

This Financial Education Program aims to deepen public understanding of financial services, encouraging the use of formal financial products and services such as safe savings, transfers, savings accounts, loans, and insurance, all of which are promoted by the Financial Services Authority (OJK). During the event, banking-related materials were shared with participants in an easy-to-understand manner. The participants of the financial education session held by Bank Artha Graha Internasional Medan Pemuda Branch showed great enthusiasm and frequently engaged in dialogues and asked questions about banking, saving, and the various products offered by the bank.

In addition to the banking education presentation, the event also featured a Q&A game based on the educational material. As a form of appreciation for active participants, Bank Artha Graha Internasional gave away 115 souvenir mugs and 10 savings vouchers, each worth IDR 100,000, to participants of the financial inclusion activity.

It is hoped that this event will raise awareness in the community about the importance of banking institutions in Indonesia and the benefits of managing finances properly through trusted financial institutions.

“In the future, we hope that the community will have more trust and confidence in financial institutions, manage their finances well, and utilize the services provided by financial institutions,” said Jerry Tanady, Branch Manager of Medan Pemuda at Bank Artha Graha Internasional.
