Sustainability and digitalization are two key focuses that have always been prioritized by Bank Artha Graha Internasional and are integrated into the Bank's development strategy. This was expressed by the Vice President Director of Bank Artha Graha Internasional, Christina Harapan, during the People Fest 2024 event held at the DPR RI football field area in Jakarta.
"This event has a very interesting concept because the public is invited to attend and participate directly in the people's festival. This is a good form of civic education for the community, where Bank Artha Graha also sees this as a good opportunity to conduct financial literacy related to the development of banking technology and digitalization through activities we have prepared at this event," said Christina.
Christina also added that at this event, Bank Artha Graha Internasional is providing digital payment system services for the public and participating MSMEs.
"Through the QRIS digital payment system, the public can enjoy attractive promotions when making payments through the agi digital apps, as we offer an easy and functional electronic account opening facility here," Christina continued.
Empowering MSMEs is a focus for Bank Artha Graha Internasional through development programs as well as financial and digital literacy for MSMEs. Financially literate and technologically savvy MSMEs are those that can compete in the era of digitalization. To that end, more than 38,000 MSME merchants have used Bank Artha Graha Internasional's QRIS with various advantages such as online settlement, active merchant rewards, cashback promotions, and, of course, support for easy financing facilities for business development.
This people's festival also aligns with Bank Artha Graha's vision and commitment to support the smooth transition of government leadership. This support is reflected in various government programs that have been participated in, where, as a National Private Bank, Bank Artha Graha Internasional actively participates in distributing Subsidized Housing Loans (KPR-FLPP) for the wider community, KUR programs for MSME empowerment, Bank Indonesia's Non-Cash Movement, and also supports financial inclusion in TNI and Polri institutions by having Memorandums of Understanding and Cooperation Agreements with TNI and Polri for the utilization of banking products and services such as account opening and management for institutions, as well as TNI and Polri personnel. These programs can certainly be carried out because Bank Artha Graha Internasional is a bank appointed by the government through the Ministry of Finance as one of the private banks for the placement and management of government accounts.
In supporting the Non-Cash Movement (cashless society), the development of banking technology and digitalization by Bank Artha Graha Internasional has reached a new level since 2018 through the renewal of the agi digital apps service, which appears more youthful with a more attractive UI/UX to serve various groups, especially millennials and Gen Z. With various conveniences such as online account opening, various transaction features, purchases, payments, BI-Fast transfers, e-money top-ups, to managing finances through the innovative Personal Finance Management (PFM) service. In addition, the massive implementation of QRIS services for MSMEs, virtual accounts, and open banking APIs also facilitates the synergy of digital ecosystems with the bank's strategic partners, one of which is through the commodity market ecosystem with the Commodity Fund Account, partnerships with several payment gateways through virtual accounts, fund transfers, and QRIS transactions.
