In commemoration of Eid al-Adha 1446 H, PT Bank Artha Graha Internasional Tbk (Bank Artha Graha Internasional) once again demonstrated its commitment to social responsibility by distributing dozens of cows and goats as qurban animals. The distribution was carried out through the bank’s branch network spread across various regions in Indonesia, targeting underprivileged communities eligible to receive qurban meat.

This initiative is part of the bank’s consistent Corporate Social and Sustainability Responsibility (CSSR) program, reflecting its real contribution to building a more inclusive and empowered society.

The distribution efforts were not carried out solely by the bank, but also involved Artha Graha Peduli (AGP), Artha Graha Group (AGG), and Artha Graha Network (AGN). Together, they played a synergistic role in delivering qurban animals to multiple regions in Indonesia, highlighting Eid al-Adha as a moment for sharing and strengthening social bonds within the community.

Rumi Kreshna Wibowo, Corporate Secretary of Bank Artha Graha Internasional, stated that the qurban initiative reflects a genuine concern for others.

“As a financial institution grounded in sustainability principles, we believe that success is not only measured by business performance, but also by the extent to which we bring benefit to the community. The qurban distribution is a form of our compassion, especially for those in need,” said Rumi.

All the qurban animals distributed underwent strict health inspections according to applicable standards. Once the slaughter was conducted according to Islamic law, the meat was directly distributed to eligible recipients, especially the underprivileged and low-income families across remote regions.

Heka Hertanto, Chairman of Artha Graha Peduli, emphasized that the spirit of Eid al-Adha aligns with AGP’s humanitarian mission. In his remarks, he highlighted that qurban is not just a symbol of devotion to Allah SWT, but also a tangible expression of sacrifice, social solidarity, and care for others.

“At Artha Graha Peduli, we believe that qurban is not just about slaughtering animals, but about slaughtering ego and indifference within ourselves. That is true sacrifice—giving to those in need and fostering a more empathetic and responsible national character,” said Heka.

As a national banking institution, Bank Artha Graha Internasional strives to fulfill its role not only as a financial service provider but also as a social development agent. Through initiatives like the qurban distribution, the bank aims to strengthen its presence in society—not just as a financial partner, but as a co-builder of the nation.
