Today, the Pre-Event of Sarinah Jakarta Formula E 2025 titled “From Heritage to Future” was held at Anjungan Sarinah, Central Jakarta, as the opening series for the prestigious electric car race, Formula E Season 11, which will return to the capital on June 21, 2025. On this occasion, the official name of this year’s event was announced as “Sarinah Jakarta Formula E 2025”—a strategic collaboration that brings together two major missions: preserving cultural heritage and embracing a sustainable future.

Bank Artha Graha Internasional (BAGI) once again demonstrates its commitment to supporting this international event. Since Formula E was first held in Jakarta in 2022, BAGI, together with Artha Graha Group and Artha Graha Network, has consistently shown full support to ensure the success of this event.

“Our support for the Jakarta E-Prix is not just about sportsmanship and technology, but also our commitment to a sustainable future,” said Rumi Kreshna Wibowo, Secretary of Bank Artha Graha Internasional. “We believe that events like this symbolize the energy transition and the shift toward more environmentally friendly urban lifestyles, in line with our sustainability vision.”

As a symbol marking the beginning of the lead-up to the Jakarta E-Prix 2025, a life-sized Formula E race car monument is now displayed at Anjungan Sarinah. Interestingly, the monument is decorated in tosca green—the signature color of agi, the digital app by Bank Artha Graha Internasional. This signifies BAGI’s active involvement in supporting the event and its spirit of sustainability.

Beyond the symbolic presence of the green tosca race car monument, Bank Artha Graha Internasional also enlivened the Pre-Event Sarinah Jakarta E-Prix 2025 with various engaging activities and programs for visitors. One such program is a 20% cashback promotion for visitors shopping in the MSME (UMKM) area using BAGI’s QRIS payment system. In addition, BAGI set up a special booth to facilitate on-the-spot account openings, complete with exciting gifts for new customers. An interactive zone featuring games and fun activities was also present to introduce BAGI's products and services in a more enjoyable way, making the visitor experience more informative and memorable.

Dozens of MSMEs also participated, offering a variety of culinary delights from local to international cuisines, showcasing the synergy between technological innovation and community economic empowerment.

Bank Artha Graha Internasional’s presence in this event reaffirms its position as a development partner that supports green initiatives, financial inclusion, and MSME development as part of Jakarta’s transformation into a modern and sustainable global city.

Sarinah’s President Director, Raisha Syarfuan, also expressed her enthusiasm for Sarinah’s participation in this year’s E-Prix.

“As a cultural center, we believe the spirit of sports is also a part of culture. This collaboration allows us to support sport tourism through various community-based and sustainability-oriented initiatives. This aligns with the values we share with Formula E—clean energy, inclusive experiences, and a sustainable future,” she said.

This prestigious Jakarta E-Prix 2025 will feature 22 racers from 11 teams representing 10 countries: the United Kingdom, Switzerland, France, Germany, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Brazil, Barbados, Portugal, and Belgium. The race is expected to reach millions of viewers worldwide—a vital opportunity to promote Jakarta and Indonesia on the global stage.
