Jakarta, October 5, 2026 – In an ongoing effort to support the growth of MSMEs and promote love for local creations, Bank Artha Graha Internasional (BAGI) supported "The Local Market – Pasar Wiwitan SCBD," held on Saturday and Sunday, October 3–4, 2026, in the lush area of SCBD Park, South Jakarta. The event attracted thousands of visitors, including both locals and foreign nationals.
Carrying the theme “Let’s Fall in Love with Local Gems!”, the event became a favorite weekend destination for Jakarta residents. It featured a curated selection of tenants ranging from fashion and traditional handicrafts to Indonesian culinary arts. Beyond shopping, visitors enjoyed cultural art performances such as gamelan music and puppet shows (wayang) that combined traditional beauty with modern entertainment vibes.
The Local Market ID, which showcases hundreds of MSMEs spanning the food and beverage to handicraft sectors, is regularly held every weekend in the SCBD area. Supported by Artha Graha Peduli, this initiative also received backing from the Ministry of Creative Economy (Ekraf).
Deputy Minister of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia, Irene Umar, appreciated the various educational activities at the Artha Graha Peduli Pavilion as one of the event venues. According to her, spaces like the Local Market serve as platforms to build public awareness for Indonesia. “When the creative economy, environmental awareness, health, and safety can coexist in one space, the benefits become far greater,” emphasized Irene Umar.
In addition to the Ministry of Creative Economy, starting this month, the Ministry of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection (KemenPPPA) is also supporting the initiative by providing a consultation booth. Veronica Tan, Deputy Minister of Women's Empowerment and Child Protection, visited the free legal consultation booth presented by KemenPPPA in collaboration with PERADI (Indonesian Advocates Association). “Together with PERADI, we are offering free consultations for anyone seeking legal clarity regarding domestic violence or harassment issues.”
Visitors participated in various interactive games and took home exclusive prizes through fun games and attractive gifts directly at the Bank Artha Graha Internasional booth. According to Julian, a visitor at the booth, “I was running at CFD and stopped by Pasar Wiwitan SCBD, only to find a great variety of food. I was able to play an archery game, get a stamp, and redeem it for a dining voucher. On top of that, there is up to Rp50,000 cashback for payments made using QRIS AGI,” he explained.
The excitement at the Bank Artha Graha Internasional booth drew strong visitor interest with activities like Kahoot quizzes, Chemistry Test games, and ring toss games for children.
“Bank Artha Graha Internasional's participation in The Local Market is a tangible demonstration of our commitment to supporting the local economy while offering a highly practical and rewarding digital transaction experience for the public,” said Selvy Hutomo, Director of Bank Artha Graha Internasional.
Through seamless digital payments via the AGI Digital App, Bank Artha Graha Internasional hopes to further encourage the public to show genuine appreciation for Indonesian local products.
